Description: Completed in 2021, Harvard Science & Engineering Center is a 10 story 500,000 sqft institution building on Western Ave in Cambridge. The building features lab space, classrooms, Auditorium space, office, and a large 10-story atrium space in the center of the building. Central's Scope included the core and shell metal framing and drywall package as well as the various programmatic fit out space. The project features a 300 person stepped classroom framed out of LGMF, 10-story Atrium with shifting soffits and staircases zig zagging through the space, numerous curved and slanted walls, large radius skylights, and GFRG columns. Central's digital laser layout system helped ensure an accurate and speedy layout of this complex project.
